The associate degree serves as an entry into higher education.
The associate degree in General Studies requires a combination of hours in General Education, Bible & Theology, Ministry Practicum, and electives in general courses. This degree requires 65 hours. Based on current course schedules, a student would be able to complete an associate degree in two years, including J terms and summer terms as needed for course scheduling.
Students who complete an associate degree in one of these programs can apply and potentially be accepted to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Associates of Arts in General Studies courses
Northeastern Baptist College offers associate degrees in Biblical Studies, Business Administration, Christian Education Ministry, and General Studies. Each program requires a combination of hours in General Education, Bible & Theology, Ministry Practicum, and specific major focused courses. Associate degrees require 64 or 65 hours.
