This degree is designed for individuals who already have an undergraduate degree and a desire to study biblical interpretation at the master’s level. Students applying to this degree are expected to earned credits in Hermeneutics, Old or New Testament, and Hebrew or Greek. Those lacking these foundational credits, but have the prerequisite degree, may take appropriate proficiency exams to assess competency.
This unique 36-credit degree plan will provide students an in depth understanding of biblical exegesis in either the Old or the New Testament. Students pursuing this degree will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced scholars and authors for two-years towards a possible publication (via NEBP) of his/her thesis. This degree can be completed in 2 years.
