Jim Roberston
Associate Dean of Academics, Associate Professor of Biblical Studies
and Christian Education
Jim Robertson is Assistant Dean of Academics at Northeastern Baptist College. He received his Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from New England College with an emphasis on development and retention of students. He has been in pastoral ministry for over twenty-five years and pastored three churches, in which he has been senior pastor at Hillside Baptist Church in Pembroke, NH for the last nineteen years.
Raised in a Pastor’s home in Manchester, NH, Jim is a native New Englander who loves ministry in the region. He has a passion for
teaching God’s word, delving deep into each book of the Bible to gain and disseminate the wisdom of God’s counsel. He likes the study of history and how God can be seen not just in the work of His church, but also within the framework of human development as a whole.
Jim has spent more than forty years in the region, in which the majority has been in New Hampshire. He and his wife Michelle have been married for over thirty years and have three grown children; Amanda, Connor, and Juliette. He enjoys various sports and reading from many
of the great authors of the Christian faith. He loves to take long car trips throughout New England, taking in the landscape and charm that each of the six states have to offer. His favorite Bible verse is John 14:6 when Jesus declares, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one
comes to the Father except through me.” Though serious about the Christian walk and ministry of God’s word, Jim tends to find the humor in many things, so do not be surprised to find him having a good time with others around campus.
