Students at NEBC will demonstrate the heart of a shepherd by expressing their passion and preparation for Christian ministry through engagement with their local community, region, nation, and the world.

Students at NEBC will demonstrate the perseverance of a soldier by displaying the necessary skills and discipline to practice their chosen vocation, and by displaying the ability to work as an individual or part of a team, to be a lifelong learner, and to call upon the breadth of knowledge obtained through their studies and experiences.

A Brief History of NEBC

Mark H. Ballard, founder and president of Northeastern Baptist College, has been on God’s mission since his childhood years in Colorado.  His family’s faith, his academic training, and his experience as pastor and church planter have combined to form a man of faith, vision, and unyielding determination to follow God’s call to whatever and wherever that call may take him.  In 1998, Ballard moved to New England and took his first steps towards starting the college. On May 31, 2010, he resigned his position as pastor of a local church and turned his focus and energy toward establishing a Baptist college in New England. Within three years, Northeastern Baptist College was established, and students were starting their college coursework.
The college’s board of trustees inaugurated Ballard as the first President of Northeastern Baptist College on October 28, 2013. Despite its small beginnings, Northeastern Baptist College is well on the way to becoming a premier Christian college in New England

Vision

Northeastern Baptist College will be the premier Baptist college in the Northeast, training ministerial and non-ministerial students both academically and practically, while impacting the Northeast throughout the training process.

Purpose

Northeastern Baptist College exists to impact the United States and the world through providing an academically sound, biblically strong, and practically relevant college education from our campus strategically located in the Northeast.
