Jared August
Associate Professor of New Testament & Greek

About

Jared August serves as Associate Professor of New Testament and Greek at Northeastern Baptist College. He received his PhD from Baptist Bible Seminary, focusing on the New Testament’s use of the Old Testament. August enjoys studying, teaching, and writing on a variety of topics, especially New Testament studies, Greek exegesis, and Christian education.

Having grown up in Rhode Island, August returned to New England in 2018 to teach at NEBC. He and his wife, Allie—and their two young children, Ransom and Evely—enjoy exploring God’s good creation, especially the Green Mountains of Vermont. When not working on their 1810 farmhouse, they enjoy hiking, skiing, gardening, reading, and perhaps most of all, walking their Samoyed, Umi.
