George Sweet

About

Dr. George Sweet joins Northeastern Baptist College with the call of God in his life to Vermont. Dr. Sweet has a love for God’s Word and for helping others understand and apply its teaching practically to their lives. George, as a Christian Counseling professor, has a vision to help students in his classes at NEBC learn how to minister in the ways that they are individually and uniquely created, gifted and equipped. He recently started a non-profit ministry, Hope Christian Counseling, which ministers to those in need.

Dr. Sweet holds a BA in Psychology,  an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, an M.Div., and a D. Min. He has served as a seminary extension coordinator and on Boards of Directors for multiple organizations. George is married to Gina, father to Luke (27) and Katie (25). Enjoys basketball, hiking, and playing the drums.
