BACHELOR OF ARTS IN BIBLICAL STUDIES WITH CHRISTIAN EDUCATION | CLASS OF 2018
This past summer, Melissa worked at a Christian camp in Vermont, “After really getting into the Word and growing over the summer, I wanted to get deeper into the Word.” Melissa began to research Bible colleges in the Northeast. When one of her coworkers began attending Northeastern Baptist College in Fall 2015, Melissa decided to come visit. Melissa says, “I decided this is where God wanted me to be. A lot of things worked out for me to be here that I couldn’t have planned for myself.”
One of her favorite things about being at NEBC is starting class with prayer: “Before coming here, I went to a secular school, so that never happened. The professors and staff here really want to be involved in our lives. It is a refreshing change.”
Melissa grew up on a farm in Sheffield, Vermont and is an LPN. She attends Faith Christian Fellowship in Pownal, Vermont and volunteers with the Bennington Area AWANAs.
