If you subscribed to the “Bennington Banner,” yesterday you would have seen the front-page, headline article announcing the agreement to purchase a downtown property for the future campus of Northeastern Baptist College.

Neither NEBC nor Vermont Premiere Properties issued a press release, or communicated with the local media in any way. However, we appreciate the “Banner” accurately reporting the good news to the Bennington Community.

After seeing the great article, Bo Vuckovic and I communicated and prepared the following press release. It was issued yesterday afternoon, and I want to share it with you.

Press Release:

August 24, 2017

Northeastern Baptist College (NEBC) and Vermont Premiere Suites are pleased to confirm the announcement in the Bennington Banner front page article dated August 24, 2017. Bo Vuckovic and Mark Ballard signed a purchase and sales agreement on August 1, 2017. While the details of the agreement are not being made public at this time, the two organizations confirm that the agreement includes a donation from Bo Vuckovic and that the agreement will not impact the fall, winter, and spring programs at the Catamount property. Bo Vuckovic and his staff will continue to operate these programs independently from Northeastern Baptist College. Mark Ballard, president of the college, stated, “It has been a great pleasure to work with Bo Vuckovic. We appreciate all that Bo has done for the college and for the Bennington community. We want to assure the community that Bo’s indoor fall, winter, and spring sports programs will continue. We look forward to a bright future for Bo and for NEBC.”

We rejoice in all the Lord is doing in Bennington. These are exciting days.

Thank you for being a part of God’s work. We so appreciate you praying, giving, and coming to visit us and work with us.

With Great Anticipation,
Mark H. Ballard
