About

Dr. Edward (Ed) Wright came to NEBC to fulfill his passion to serve the Lord on the front lines of missions. He believes equipping students to have a scholar’s mind, a shepherd’s heart, and a soldier’s perseverance will produce the greatest impact for Christ in the Northeast. His extensive ministry experience, passion for missions, and educational achievement uniquely equip him to fulfill this mission. He earned BA and MA degrees from Texas State University and a M.Div. and D.Min. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Wright’s practical experience includes youth and college ministry, missions and pastoral ministry, as well as being an adjunct instructor with two previous institutions. Dr. Wright and his wife Jana are blessed with two adult children. His keenest interests include spending time with his grandchildren. He is now retired and living in Kentucky.
