Professor of Pastoral Ministry
With a heart to serve The Lord on the front lines while training students and making an impact in the Northeast for Christ, Dr. Edward (Ed) Wright serves Northeastern Baptist College as the VP Dean of Students and as Professor of Pastoral Theology. Dr. Wright brings extensive ministry experience, a passion for missions, and his educational achievement to the college. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Texas State University and a second Master’s and a Doctorate degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Wright’s experience includes youth and college ministry, pastoral and missions’ ministry, as well as a teaching ministry as an adjunct instructor with two previous institutions. His keenest interests also include spending time with grandchildren. Dr. Wright and his wife Jana are blessed with two adult children Haley and Edward.
