Our admissions process is easy and simple. 

APPLY ONLINE!  Our application questions are centered upon the college’s mission which is to have the mind of a scholar, the heart of a shepherd, and the perseverance of a soldier.  The specific elements of our application are:

• Life Goals Essay describes your life goals and how NEBC can help you reach them. (250-3000 words)

• Salvation Testimony that describes your life before Christ, when and how you came to Christ, and how your life is different now that you have Christ as your Lord and Savior. (150-200 words)

• Personal Reference

• Academic (or Employer) Reference

• Pastoral & Church Recommendation

• Transcript(s) from high school and other post-secondary studies.*

• Agreement with NEBC’s Standards of Conduct and the Baptist Faith & Message

SAT/ACT Test Scores are not required for admission to NEBC. If taken, students can provide official test scores from either the SAT or ACT. These test scores must be certified by and mailed from the respective testing agency directly to NEBC’s Admissions Office in an official, sealed envelope. The scores will held in the student’s file for future purposes. NEBC’s school code for the SAT is DI – 7999.

 

Completed applications are considered up to 12 months prior to the desired enrollment. 

 

* Additional transcript information: Proof of high school graduation or a GED is required for admission into Northeastern Baptist College. Applicants will provide official transcripts of all previous academic work reflecting credit hours earned or attempted. Original transcripts must be certified by and mailed from the registrar of each school directly to Northeastern Baptist College’s Admissions Office in an official, sealed envelope. They should be addressed to: Northeastern Baptist College, Admissions Department, PO Box 4600, Bennington, VT 05201.

  1. High school students: High school students applying to NEBC will submit a high school transcript during his/her senior year and one upon graduation.
  2. Homeschool students: Homeschool students applying to NEBC will submit an official transcript from a lawfully operated non-public school (or a GED). Transcripts must be notarized and contain all subjects completed between 9th-12th grades with corresponding earned grades, as well as the homeschool’s name, address, and telephone number and the administrator’s name and signature certifying the student’s fulfillment of all state high school requirements.
  3. Transfer students: Provide official transcripts for all post-secondary institutions attended. Credits earned at other institutions will be evaluated by the Registrar for transferability and will be assessed individually to assure satisfactory completion of pertinent course content, as well as applicability to the educational program being pursued at NEBC. Courses earned at the grade level B or higher will be considered for transfer evaluation. Applicants may be required to provide a copy of the transfer institution’s catalog.
